Alright, I have a few posts concearning this carnival thing but will do this one first. As some of you might know, Holly and myself decided it would be cool to have something along the lines of the Circus of the Damned in the Anita Blake novels. The Carnivale Bella Morte is more like an amusement park than a proper carnival but will have aspects of a true carnival like clowns, fire eaters and such. The main attraction of CBM will be the preternatural shows featuring lycans, vamps, fey, a lamia, and all kinds of stuff. Everyone is free to visit CBM and hopefully some of you will become performers in the shows or otherwise become involved. There are a ton of RP possibilities for everyone so don't hesitate to talk to Holly or myself if interested in one position or another. The key for the map explains what is what and will give you an idea what sort of jobs are available. Nothing was given a 'name' really so that those who take the position can name it themselves.

I love this idea, It will be another great place to interact but I have a few concerns with the map/key. Lycans in this time are mostly on the down low. And Lamia's and certain other supernaturals are very rare..infact Lamia's even in the Anitablake novels were thought to be extinct. Please just keep this in mind. When people see shows of Lycans or Lamia's it will be a rare treat and may even be horrifying etc. Thanks

The main objective is to horrify the customers cause Adrian's a prick like that. *L* The lycan's shifting is definitely meant to freak people out but the lycans are allowed to conceal their face and won't have their identies made public. The lamia thing came up because somebody was really interested in playing the character and the character was approved. Using a lamia at the carnival just seemed to cool a thing to pass up. We're not trying to go against the books by any means. In fact, wasn't their a lamia at the circus of the damned? I believe that was in the Killing Dance, but not sure.
